I am selling my brand new Beyer DT1770 Pro headphones. This pair was delivered to me on the 22nd of July this year and are a replacement for my previous pair which I sent in for a warranty claim. My previous pair were a little imbalanced with vocals just off to one side. Syntec (importers of Beyer products) were great, just sent them to them and once Beyer Germany approved the warranty they sent this brand new pair out to me.
So, this pair is brand new. I've opened the box and plugged them in just to confirm they were nicely balanced and all was included.
In the three weeks I was without the Beyers the bug bit really hard and I bought a pair of Sen HD800's, balanced cable and Senn amp to match.
I was going to keep the Beyers and use them for closed back headphone use but have decided that I really don't need two pairs of cans.
I have all packaging, straight and curly 3 metre cables and both pairs of ear pads being the velour and the leather. Beyer will honour the balance of the two year warranty which will run to 26/1/2016 (purchase date of the first pair).
I can post at the buyer's expense.
RRP on these is now $899. My price is a smidge over 60% of the retail price which is about the going rate for second hand items so my price for a brand new pair of more than fair.
The DT1770 pro is reviewed really well. It's an accurate studio headphone and an upgrade from the original DT770.
