Wonder if you guys can help me here. I'm in the position to purchase a new amp, or new speakers. At the moment I own a Luxman L-505u and PMC TB2i speakers. I'd like to keep both brands in my system as I really enjoy their synergy and signatures. I live in a small to medium sized studio, well dampened for audio.
I'd like to either:
A: Upgrade the speakers to PMC Twenty 23, which I'm keen on the idea of a slim floorstander which may bring about more scale, soundstage, clarity, or
B: Upgrade the Luxman to the L-507ux which is a big step up, apparently, and may dig even more out of the current TB2i which seem to love upgrades.
Either change should be very welcome, but can only afford one or the other.
