Extra Info: Imported directly from Japan by another SNA member about 2 years back. Professionally converted to 240 volts, no step down transformer required. This amplifier is virtually indistinguishable from new. It has no problem at all driving even inefficient speakers in large rooms with power and control.
Very musical sound, and nicely balanced. Neither warm and thick/slow nor bright,steely and brash. Has that beautiful finish and build quality of premium Japanese gear and will last a lifetime. Another SNA member @johnmath fitted Cardas pure copper binding posts and the amplifier will now accept any type of cable connection. He also inspected and tested the amplifier and can verify that it works flawlessly.
