Stylus cleaner question

I am currently using the AM stylus cleaner. Brush dipped in liquid.
Is then preference dry cleaning instead of wet? My concern is dust sticking to the stylus when it's wet and I don't know long term will damage the stylus with who knows what chemicals are in those liquid ?
The ortofon or project stylus brush looks the goods?
Thoughts?
