Thought I'd share some pictures of my system - there have been quite a few changes over the past year, the biggest of which was a move from tube amp (Weston Tempest) to solid state (Accuphase with Bent preamp). I miss the Weston amp more than any other item I've sold, so will probably end up buying another sometime in the future!
As you can see from the photos, some of the equipment is hidden away in a cupboard in the room behind the listening area. This contains all the gear I don't need access to, e.g., Sonos, hard drives, DAC, Mac, etc, etc. The preamp is controlled using an IR relay.
The interconnects are my first attempt at DIY - @shaky kindly gave me some Siemens 6X1830-0EH10, which I terminated with KLE Silver Harmony for the DAC->preamp>amp and AEC Star for the reel to reel decks. Sounds pretty good to me.
I'll probably look at changing the speaker cable next, currently I'm using some AQ Mammoth.
