G'day all, this afternoon my Dad asked me to play an old Hank Snow record for him and instantly I was reminded of the dim dark days of my childhood, when our PYE stereogram held pride of place in our family and playing a record was the 'family' thing to do!
That PYE stereogram was pretty primitive by modern standards with a BSR 'record changer' and ceramic cartridge and AM radio and two 2 way ported speakers in a fancy wooden case....real furniture! It even had a 'transistorised' stereo amplifier....very new technology in 1968! Of course lots of Hank Snow was played on it! Memories! Regards, Felix.
