Hoping for some recommendations thanks.
I just purchased a Fiio X3 Gen 2 DAP (still to arrive) and am looking for a suitable pair of portable headphones to use with it, for when I am out and about. Apparently the Fiio is pretty easy to drive, so can't see it having too many problems with a lot of available cans. I own HD650 and Final Audio Sonorous III headphones, but feel they are too big for portable use, want something a little smaller.
I'm not against earphones per se, but find a lot of them flimsy and not durable enough.
I know $200 won't get me sonic heaven, but any thoughts and suggestions are welcomed. And more so from Fiio owners.
I have been looking at the Audio Technica ATH-M50x so far ($185), could at a stretch consider their MSR7 headphones but that's about $90 dearer. What else is worth considering?
Would also consider second hand.
