Replacement motor required for a Thorens TD320 MK2 or down the DC motor and PWM speed controller path

Hi

I am hoping that somebody has  spare Thorens TD320 mk2 Berger 16 POLE MOTOR that I can purchase. Unfortunately the top brass bush on my motor is very worn and I cannot find a replacement motor anywhere as I suspect all spares have been used. I am looking for a replacement before going down the path of modifying the unit with a DC motor and speed controller which is a good although expensive option with the Origin live DC100/ SPEED CONTROLLER. Looking at new turntables today up to $2000 was very uninspiring and I am better off finding a motor or modifying my unit  which is fine as I am a tech. I do find the Origin live products very expensive for what you get and am wondering if anybody has gone down this path with a MAXON motor and aftermarket DC  PWM speed controller board which are available from EBAY for under $50. Still in the research stage in regards to options
