I'm the original owner. Both devices are about 10 months old and have more than 1 year left in warranty. Hm-901 has the most amazing rich, dynamic,mellow sound in the three DAPs I had (the other two are Cowon P1 and AK240). However its user interface are super buggy and I barely took it outside, I just plugged it into the dock and used it as a desktop DAC most of the time. However the it doesn't support the Windows 10 of my new PC so I bought other DACs, (it works fine in the Mac).
