Reason for selling: I purchased this Phono Stage/Converter when I was ripping vinyl to high res digital files. Once I got digital to reproduce at higher quality, the CD versions of these old recordings actually sounded a lot better than my vinyl rip. So I went back to using my Acoustic Signature Phono Stage, as I no longer needed the A to D conversion.

Extra Info: This is a great Phono Stage in its own right and allows for very sophisticated tuning to any type of cartridge, delivering a very musical and accurate output into amp, pre-amp or DAC. It's also perfect if you're wanting to rip your old vinyl to digital, because it provides a simultaneous analog to digital conversion in addition to analog pre-amplified signal. I had it included in the system for about 12 months and it has been sitting in my audio storage cupboard since. It's certainly a step up from a number of phono converters on the market.
