I picked this up about 10 years ago, and was going to use it as an instrument amplifier with a separate pre-amp, though I've never had the time. I have never plugged it in or tested it. It's been in storage and is a little dusty.
Great for a project or curiosity, or for spare parts for an A54A amp.
The unit is complete and original, including castor wheels.
The Trimax A54A amplifier is unmodified, but untested.
The woofer and coaxial tweeter are intact, but also untested.
There's plenty of info including schematics for the Trimax A54A if you search the StereoNet forums. The 6AU6, 12AT7 and 6CA7/EL34 tubes are pretty easy to find.
This unit is vintage, and though it is unmodified by me, the disclaimer is probably appropriate.
