Up for sale is a Vintage Sansui Integrated amplifier from the mid Eighties (built May '85). It is rated at 110W per channel, and features Sansui's X-Balanced output stage, which gives the amp a very clean and detailed sound, and with a "musicality" that is typical of the X-balanced design.
It has a selectable MM/MC phono stage, and a 5 band equaliser in placed of bass and treble controls. There is a vacuum fluorescent VU display that has two sensitivity settings, and there are also low and high filters, and a loudness function. There are inputs for Phono, CD, Tuner and AUX, plus tape in and out.
The unit is in good condition, and has have all of the front panel illumination lights replaced, a new NOS volume pot, and all internal adjustments have been checked and adjusted to factory specs. There are minor marks and blemishes commensurate with age and use. The front panel is clean and free from any noticeable marks or scratched. There are some blemishes and scratches on the top panel.
