Conservative Grading is as follows-- (NM, VG++, VG+, VG, G)
Grading listed below is : cover first / record grade 2nd
 
Original contents are stored inside the cover. I try to ship all records outside the cover and inner paper sleeves, so any postal damage is minimised.
 
I use new pre-made cardboard mailers for smaller orders, and these virtually guarantee safe arrival of your record (they are also MUCH faster to pack).
 
Combined postage to anywhere in Australia at cost (or close enough).
ABSOLUTELY NO LOCAL PICKUPS - I just don't have the time, sorry.
I'm barely at home as it is, and have no wish to be here waiting around for hours at a time.

Eric Clapton - Timepieces I (The Best Of Eric Clapton) - AUS pressed LP (3294 303). VG+/VG+. Cover is good, with just some edge and spine splits, and minor corner bumps. No inner. The record looks great with only minor marks and plays through them all with ease.   $16  

 

Eric Clapton - Timepieces II - AUS pressed LP  (811 835-1) VG++/VG+. Cover is very nice with only a left hand bottom front corner bump the downer, some tiny spine splits. With original inner showing just hints of age spots. The record is very good and has just a little noise on the intro to Track 1 before settling into a perfect listen both sides.   $16

 

Dead Can Dance – Spleen And Ideal - original UK 4AD pressing (CAD 512). VG+/VG++. The cover looks great – just some light edge compression, a hint of ringwear and a tiny sticker residue top right front. Same on the back. With original inner. The vinyl is in remarkable condition – though the record shows some marks from storage, it sound like a CD while playing, with no noise and awesome SQ. Very hard to find in this excellent playing condition!   $40

 

Dead Can Dance – Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun - original UK 4AD pressing (CAD 705). VG++/VG++. The cover looks new and still has more than 90% of its original shrink-wrap on, so is in terrific condition. Original UK price sticker still there too (but should be easily removed without damage, should you wish too). With original inner. The vinyl is also in remarkable condition – though the record shows some marks from storage, it sound like a CD while playing, with no noise and awesome SQ. Very hard to find in this excellent playing condition!   WOW....  $50

 

* Prana69 *    Midnight Oil - Place Without A Postcard – AUS pressed original (SBP237704). VG+/VG. ‘TML’ mastered both sides. Cover looks OK with bend top left in corner, small tear top right where a price sticker was removed, else pretty nice on front, just a little ringwear impression on the back. Original inner looks good. The record has some constant low crackle on Side 1 and a little on Side 2, so will need a good clean. Great SQ though throughout the louder songs. Take a chance at…  $5

 

* achjimmy *   Midnight Oil - 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 – Aussie original gatefold (SBP-237868). VG+/VG++. Nice example. Cover is clean and looks great, front and back, but for slight rubbing wear at top and bottom, light sticker residue top right. Nice clean, original inner. Record similarly clean and tidy which plays perfectly and sounds great after a little entry crackle. A clean will only improve it.   $14

 

* krakatana *   Midnight Oil - Red Sails In The Sunset - Aussie original (SBP-238027). VG+/VG++. Really nice example. Cover is clean and looks great, front and back, but for tiny edge splits, and some rubbing marks on the back. Nice clean, straight original lyric inner. The wax is similarly clean and tidy and plays with little to zero noise and awesome SQ throughout. A quick clean should improve it to perfect!   $18

 

* Litespeed *   Midnight Oil – Diesel and Dust - Aussie original gatefold Copper mastered (CBS-460005 1). VG+/VG++. Really nice example. Cover looks good with just some rubbing wear, more pronounced on the back, big original poster in the gatefold. Nice clean, straight original lyric inner. The record shows some finger marks but is as tough as the old Outback it emanated from, with little to zero noise and awesome SQ throughout. A quick clean should clear it right up.   $16

 

* Litespeed *   Cold Chisel - East - Aussie original (WEA 600064) on red/greeny WEA labels.. VG/VG++. Cover looks OK with quite clean Hype sticker top right, some decent rubbing and ringwear around the edges on front, more pronounced on the back. Otherwise, really nice and clean original lyric inner. The record looks beautiful (like new) with little to zero noise. A terrific listening copy.   $12

 

* tellmidd *    Cold Chisel - Circus Animals - Aus original (WEA 600113) on red/greeny WEA labels. VG/VG+. Cover looks fine with it’s original Allan’s Music price sticker top right, but for hints of ringwear on front and spine splits/bends, mostly noticeable on the back. Nice white and clean lyric inner. A very strong VG then getting oh-so-close to VG+, but for those splits/bend. The record is clean, showing some wispy marks and sounds great, with a little crackle currently during quiet passages. Give it a clean and you should have a great listening copy.  $12

 

* Litespeed *   Carole King – Tapestry – NZ gatefold original 1971 textured/fabric-feel sleeve pressing, on A&M light brown labels. (SODL 934221). VG+/VG+. Lovely thing to handle the quality of this cover. Gatefold stuck at some point in storage and prising it apart caused a little 1cm tear inside the middle top of the fold, right on the inside edge. Nothing can be seen from the outside though. No inner. The record shows some marks and plays with the occasional bit of noise, but mostly sounds great with cool tubey-warmth and non-distracting. Can’t be too many of these surviving in this awesome condition?!    $20

 

Vince Jones – Watch What Happens – AUS pressed 1982 1st album (YPRX 1933). VG+/VG++. Really nice copy of this title. Cover just has some light wrinkles to the front that are tough to see , with the original Readings sticker top right looking new. Else perfect. No inner. Record looks awesome and plays like it. The usual Studio 301 mastering means great SQ.  $12

 

* goldencoults *  Steely Dan - ‘Pretzel Logic' - NZ 1974 original gatefold laminated sleeve (PROLP 8053) on Probe labels. VG++/VG. The cover looks new and could have been minted yesterday. Lovely. The record has some entry crackle and pop but settles into a really nice listen, with great tubey 70’s warmth by halfway through ‘Rikki’. Everything after that sounds perfect. Again, awesome condition for it’s age and a real find.   $35

 

Van Morrison – Enlightenment – 1990 AUS original (847 100-1). VG+/VG++. Another beauty to go with the hot titles from last night’s list. The cover of this one has some light rubbing wear across the front, tiny edge splits, back has the same. Perfect original white lyric inner. The record looks almost new – and it plays like it.   $20

 

* achjimmy *  Supertramp – Even In The Quietest Moments.. – AUS pressed 1977 original (L 36068)  VG+/VG+. The cover is good with just light ringwear showing through, back and front, and some corner wear. The original lyric inner is awesome. What a record though…the best SQ I have heard for this title. Strong, powerful, and very clear separation of instruments and voices. ‘Give A Little Bit’ sounds   a. m. a. z. i. n. g.  (to name but one). Showing marks but seems to ignore most all of them and pulls out an absolute beauty. Get this!  $14

 

* Litespeed *   Supertramp – Crisis?  What Crisis? – US pressed original (A&M SP-4560). VG+/VG++. The cover looks incredible with just edgewear, tiny rips along those, and light corner bumps the only downer. The original yellow inner is looking good. The rekkid?  WTF is happening with these titles?!…awesome SQ that just screams out of the speakers. There are a LOT of pressings of this, but this one appears to be a Terre Haute ripper and it’s clean, scratch free, and plays like something pressed yesterday in the best ol’ Yank plant you can name. They don’t actually make ‘em like this anymore, unfortunately…  $18

 

Neil Young - Time Fades Away – 1973 original AUS (MS-2151). VG/VG+. The cover actually looks great, but for a botched big sticker removal top right front, meaning a big white mark has been left behind. Leave the cover it comes with on and no-one will ever notice. Apart from that, edgewear and a cat scratch on the back is the worst to report. No inner. The record is good with only light marks and plays with great fidelity and just ambient background noise between tracks.   $20

 

ELO - Out of The Blue - AUS pressed double gatefold original LP (2JT 001). VG+/VG++. Good poster, but no spaceship present. The cover is great but for a recent price sticker residue top right, small marks elsewhere, edgewear and slight spine compression. Both records look incredible, and sound great with little to no noise throughout – stellar!  A fantastic listening copy (or work on that sticker residue and make it something more)   $16
