Speaker Stand shopping

What must i look for on a speaker stand? I heard they need to be heavy.

I was looking at the B&W STAV24S2. But they seem to be only 4.5kg in weight (according to a website)? 

Are there anything around that price point that is better? Or even under $200?

My speakers are Martin Logan M15.
