For sale is a Linn Axis turntable fitted with a Linn Basik+ tonearm.
I recently had the unit professionally serviced by the authorised Linn agent, which included:
- Power supply / motor control serviced with most of the old caps replaced.
- New Audio Technica AT95E cartridge fitted.
- New Linn hinges fitted.
I have to say that this is an excellent sounding turntable and I was legitimately quite stunned at how good it really is. Its a bit a bit of a giant killer IMO. The advantage of this over its bigger brother the Linn Sondek LP12, is that it plays at 33 and 45 speed, and is also a lot cheaper than a LP12 too. 
It would be really interesting to hear how much better it would sound with a higher level cartridge. 
The only two slight issues are that the lid isn't in as good a condition as the deck, which hardly looks as if its been used much at all, and is also missing the tonearm clip. It fell off somewhere and I can't find it.
