You might have seen the other thread that I just posted (copy is below). My question here is can and should one stream Todal from an Oppo 105d? If so can (and should) you avoid the Oppo and put the Oppo into a vg DAC (I have a Meitner)? Alternatively should I use the Oppo's DAC and stream straight into my Concert Fidelity pre? Final question is can one use Roon on'with an Oppo to stream Tidal? Oh - and can one also use Spotify on an Oppo? Sorry for all of the questions. Just looking at a bigggggg change (possibly dropping my Antipodes DX - see below) but don't want to compromise my sound quality. NOTE that 99% of my listening is currently Tidal via my AP DX.

I love my Antipodes DX. However 99% of the music I listen to is streaming from Tidal which I can access via my Oppo or laptop. Also I need to (possibly) rase some funds for a big speaker change. Am I getting good value and use out of the DX if I am almost totally using it to stream Tidal into my Meitner DAC? For streaming (only) am I going to get the same sound quality from the Oppo/laptop? I know that the DX is fantastic for listening to ripped CDs - but i'm simply not using it for that. Thanks in advance.
The rest of my system is Lamm 1.2 Refs, Meitner DAC and Concert Fidelity pre - and Harbeth 5+s.
