Unexpected circumstances have led me to put up this wonderful 300B SET tube amplifier designed and built by Eric Chan in Burwood NSW (RRP $1600) - this is the upgraded model with upgraded tube sockets, PIO capacitors and a single ended headphone output (32 ohms). His MarZe output transformers are his best to date, and now rare, such that his eBay store shows the last of this model for sale.
It is capable of driving high efficiency speakers with 8 watts per side, and makes my HD800 sing.
Stock tubes included are:
- Used Mullard GZ34
- 2 x GE 6EM7 driver tubes
- 2 x Psvane HiFi 300B tubes
In addition, I will include the following tubes, all hardly used (less than 20 hours use):
- 2 x 300B Genalex Gold Lion tubes (RRP $400)
- 2 x Sophia Princess 300B Classic WE replica tubes (RRP $1200)
- 1 x Sophia Princess 274B Rectifier (RRP $275)
- 1 x Sophia Princess 274B Mesh Rectifier (RRP $275)
Thats a total of $3750 of value - I will part with the alot for $2750.
