Extra Info:Bought new from Melbourne HiFi store and in very good condition. These were top of the Mission range and the last of its speakers to be designed and built in the UK.

There is very little information about the E83s on the Internet, but it was the top of the Elegante range. It was designed by Peter Comeau, who was also responsible for the Award-winning Heybrook HB1 and Mission 780, and the Mission 782, Volare V63 and the flagship Pilastro.
In 2004, Whathifi Sound and Vision awarded the E8 range their 'Best Multichannel Speaker Package above £2000' with a five star review. I have attached a pdf of the review. Other reviews I have found include:
