Extra Info: Well known Sansui Tuner - And one of the best looking.
Often rated as 'one of the best' Audiophile grade Tuners around. I'm assuming if you have read this far you already know that!
Many sides to mod these as well (such as http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/DIY.html#TU-717).
Appears to work perfectly : Able to tune in both AM and FM/FM Stereo channels, calibration signal works.
There are a few defects to be aware of however, all are shown in the pictures.
1. On the rear of the unit, the AM antenna holder is broken, although it still sits in place quite comfortably - this is the ball join that allows you to swing the AM antenna out for (i assume) better reception. I'm not sure who, if anyone would do that (or indeed, does anyone listen to AM??)
2. There is a small dent on the front left upper corner, a VERY common issue with most Sui's and their large, square protruding corners.
3. There are minor / surface scratches across the top as to be expected
4. There are some minor defects inside the front panel - look at the picture just above the tuning know.
5. This is a 120v model, and as such is provided with a Step-up transformer to run from 240v mains.
