Just bought a Musical Fidelity A5 preamp in my system. It brings an extra ounce of clarity across all frequencies (i had details but now the preamp is highlighting specific details adding musicality and resolution). Pleasantly surprised!!!
However, i wanted to try a sub in my stereo system. Is it safe to connect the Tape Out to my Anti-Mote line which feeds my 2 subs?
I will be setting the cross over at 40 or 50hz in my subs.
Note, my integrated has bass mgmt but it is disabled when i use it as a power amp(processor mode). If the above is not recommended, i will be using the CD in and use its internal bass mgmt with active crossover. However, this option implies 2 volume controls (preamp and integrated) which i wanted to avoid.
