Item Condition: This particular pair is BNIB as the originals were recently replaced by Hifiman under Warranty. You can see from the photos provided they don’t have any signs of use, scratches, odd spots etc. I have just tested them to make sure there are no issues. Otherwise they have been sitting in their box since they arrived. A2A have similar condition Hifimans for $4749. They come with all included accessories. I have never used the cable. The box is the original though (nil scratches and original protector as seen on the photos). Coming from a pet free and smoke free home.
Description - Great set of cans that can have plenty of slam but can also be laid back. Possess a huge soundstage and GODLIKE lush texture in the tone especially midrange – in some presentations the texture of the midrange beats the LCD4’s IMHO. Also, these are extremely comfortable and every time that I have heard them, they have transported me to a new world. These have delivered one of the best Head-fi listening experiences I have heard to date.
Reason for selling - I ‘accidentally’ (sigh) bought a pair of LCD4’s whilst waiting for them to come back. Since that point, they have been sitting in my study in their box as I did not want to sell them. But alas, God only gave me one pair of ears. And I have finally made up my mind to let go of them, and put some $$ into a new DAC.
