A weird project that I need advice on.
I have a VERY solid box of 63 litres capacity which will have a baffle board allowing 45 cm x 36 cm space for mounting the drivers.
My first thought was to put in two wide range 200mm drivers but it seems the volume is too large for them unless I cut it down smaller (present front to back is 39 cm).
So I'm thinking about using a 300mm sub bass unit + two mid/top for the (limited) stereo.
High SPL are not required and I intend to put a 20 to 50W/ch inside the box.
However the whole project could be pointless as it is arse about trying to find drivers to suit the box rather than building a box to suit the driver.
What would you do?
TIA
John
