These are AS NEW Tannoy Precision 6.1 speakers finished in stunning dark walnut gloss.
These were originally purchased for the intention of serving as a sweet bedroom setup but now I have moved house and unable to use them.
The speakers are all in original packaging and look absolutely stunning.
When I purchased these Tannoys I compared them countless times with the Kef ls50s. I ended up preferring the Tannoys for the following reasons:
- The top end is more open and silkier and the overall sound is more alive than the ls50s
- Most importantly the Tannoys are far easier to drive (3db more efficient) and have a far more stable impedance curve compared to the roller coaster impedance of the ls50s
- Beautifully suited to tube / valve amplification with magical results
- They are bi-wireable unlike the Kefs
- Far easier subwoofer integration which was one of Tannoys design intentions than the Kefs
