For offer is my beloved Thorens TD160 and she's as nice as you'll get a 40+ year old turntable!
Serviced just over 12 months ago. Relubed, adjusted, new belt etc. etc.
Retains it's original TP-16 tonearm and has a very nice Townsend EEI 700 cartridge which sounds much, much better than the vintage Shure V-15's I experimented with. Plinth and dustcover are as good as they get too.
Its with great reluctance that I offer this for sale. I honestly thought I never would consider it, but my Garrard 401 project is a little demanding at present!
This table sounds just beautiful and outperforms the Linn LP12 I had not so long ago and it had a SME and Shure V-15 installed. Hence why I've hung onto it.
