Extra Info: These are Roy Allison speakers, he was head developer for Acoustic Research and responsible for the development of the A3a speaker before he established his own company. They are 8ohm speakers, I recently matched them with my 70s Pioneer SX770 receiver 15 watts and they sounded superb, so it is about matching.
As always I have delivered superbly fuzzy pictures.
The are best placed against a wall and need a stand 60 to 70cm height. beautiful mids and highs and good bass. I have gone tubey as old dudes do and these don't suit my amplifier. They are finished in American Walnut and are in super condition, slight white spots on one corner. Consecutive serial numbers.
