Extra Info: Yes, i have a serious problem! Upgradeitis... Started with the Devialet 120, then moved to a D200, and just recently the D400 monos. Only place to go from here is the D800.

Now that i have moved through much of the Devialet range, the Devialet 200 is the clear sweet spot and best value for money. If you are looking to try a Devialet, the 200 is the place to start. The RRP on these is currently $11,600 and with a rumoured upgrade on the way the price is said to rise to $14k later in the year. This way you can buy a practically brand new unit not even broken in for $7k, and if you choose down the track upgrade it to the yet to be released new spec. It is rumoured the 'upgrade' will be in the region of $5k so even after adding that in you will be significantly ahead of the new price. Sydney HiFi Castle Hill have one demo unit remaining for $8,200 which is the cheapest i have heard of besides mine of course!

Moving from the D200 to D400 was a really nice step up. For me around 15-20% improvement. Yes it is an improvement at considerable cost, but now that i have heard it there is no way i can go back. If you currently have a 200, add one of these and go dual mono 400. More bass control/grip, effortless headroom, a greater sense of ease to the sound, and for me the biggest improvement was the speakers seem to disappear with the soundstage widening considerably. The already ridiculously low distortion value halves when you go mono, you also now have double the number of inputs available.

If you are thinking about going the whole hog (D400), the beauty of what i am offering compared to a 'normal' D400, is that i have 2 x D200 Masters, not the usual Master and companion. This means both of my units come with the built in wifi card/board and remote, so they can be run as dual mono 400, or individual D200 units this helps future saleability and resale value.

I have this as an EOI as unless both units sell i'll be keeping them.

Both units present exactly as new.

I recently sent a Devialet 200 from Melbourne to Perth and it cost $60 in case you're thinking of shipping costs interstate.
