Just picked up a pair of Proac Studio 3's my dream speakers yesterday and wanted to see if anyone had any experience with upgrades/mods or should I just leave them alone? You can see by the photos I have a pair of Focal 927be Anniversary Edition speakers that sound wonderful with my E.A.R. 834 Integrated amplifer.....mids seemed a bit more forward with the Proacs, treble maybe a touch better with the Focals and bass is comparable maybe a bit firmer with the Focals as they are 5db more efficient at 90db vs 85db on the Proacs. I did move out the Focals and put the Proacs in the same spot from the photo.
Any info or thoughts would be appreciated.
