Digital rig for Vinylphiles?

Ok, this may be in the wrong forum as I am looking at DACs and digital source but I am especially interested in the views of the vinyl people because they come from a certain perspective.  I am also not interested in the debate on whether vinyl or digital is superior - that is covered to death in other forums.

My system consist of Jadis DA50S integrated tube amp (which I installed Grant Fidelity Treasures KT120, and NOS Telefunken 12AX7s and 12AU7s), Usher Mini-X Dancer bookshelf speakers with a REL subwoofer.  My vinyl rig is a Well tempered Classic with Lyra Delos cart feeding into Aurorasound Vida.  I would describe the sound as detailed, lively, lush and very musical.

After listening to a number of different digital combinations, I have finally settled on Antipodes DX and Calyx Femto DAC being the most satisfying.  The AB with the vinyl rig (using Norah Jones' Come Away with Me and Eva Cassidy Greatest Hits) is surprisingly close, and I had to listen closely to find the difference.  But there are still differences.  The vinyl still excel at the edges, and sound more "raw" than the digital rig. Listening to Eva Cassidy's Fields of Gold, there is a bit more resonance and echo in the vinyl sound giving the impression that she is in the room while the digital has less "echo".  But the difference is very small.  In terms of cost, on estimated retail prices, the digital rig is 1.5x the cost of the vinyl rig.

I will be interested in other vinylphile's view of how they approach their digital gear, whether they look for a particular sound, compare to their vinyl rig or go into an entirely different direction.
