Pooped into JB Hi Fi this morning to return Matt Corby's album Terruric and get a replacement.
I then saw Angus Stone's new project Dope Lemon - Honey Bones on vinyl. Oh, cool gotta pick up that. then saw the price of $64:95. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love vinyl, but do they really think the vinyl lover, hipster will continue to pay stupid expensive prices. I have boycotted the last 4 or 5 Neil Young releases due to his old man rip off prices - and guess what? All his new releases have gone down by around 50% as they don't sell at stupid expensive prices.
Not sure what a so-called hipster Angus Stone is doing attempting prison sex on his fans - but for me, we all have a choice and I will happily BOYCOTT new vinyl @ $65 an album.
