Toslink optical cable switch?

Does anyone use a switch to select 1 from 2 (or more) optical cable inputs?  (@davidro - you're into this stuff! )

I would like to select the output from one of:

• my Foxtel IQ3 box, and
• my DVD player

. . . to feed into the Bluetooth TX unit which send the signal up one floor to my preamp.

Is this Jaycar unit any good - or, for a bit more, can one get a better quality unit?
