Recently I have had the following experience ordering various bits and pieces:
-Prima luna MM board for Dialogue Tube Amp - told by the distributor it would take two weeks then it took two months and they forgot to put it in the shipment.
-Some Prima luna 12au7 tubes - none available in Australia. Could take weeks to get here. These are advertised as available at several retailers.
-Primare DAC 30 - I can only order a black one. The distributor does not have any silver ones left in Australia. It will take a month for a silver one.
-Clearaudio Maestro Cartridge - ordered it only to be told that it is going to take about two months to get here. None in Australia despite the fact that several retailers are currently advertising them as available.
Is this just a run of bad luck or a common pattern with distributors of hifi gear in Australia?
Sorry for the whinge but I had to get this off my chest. Surely there has to be a better model than this available.
