I am a long staker of your great forum.I have used to solve a number of problems over the years
I have recently been unable to find the answer to a question I have. I have a Yamaha MCR 840 Micro, which I love. A power surge killed its amp, could not be repair or replaced as it is discontinued. I replaced it with a AS201. Works well. Problem is the infrared receiver was in the amp not the Cd/DVD player.
Is there any way I can resolve this? Or do I have to replace the player 😿
Any help would be greatly appreciated
