I am looking for an integrated amplifier for a system I am planning to set up. It will be for my holiday home, so not looking at anything too expensive yet.
- room size- about 4.5m (L) x 3m (W)
- speakers I will be using - NS 1000M or Gales GS 401 - undecided
- Amp wattage - ? above 50w, SS only
- I wouldn’t mind shipping if I can keep the costs within budget
- cosmetic condition is important. not fussed about colour or finish
I love vintage gear like the old Sansui amps and Pioneer receivers ( SX series ). In my possession is a faulty Pioneer SX9970 ( which is the SX 1280 equivalent, that I am looking at fully refurbishing/ repairing but just can’t find the right person to do so).
Open to other brands and newer models too, as long as they can run either one of the speakers mentioned.
Please tell what you have for sale and I also welcome any suggestions. Thanks for reading
