Well this is a new one on me : I replaced the el cheapo power supply caps in my Pass Aleph L clone preamp with Mundorf MLGO electrolytics of the same capacitance but higher voltage rating. The other day I heard a noise coming from the pre and thought one or both of the mains transformers was buzzing but it turns out that it is the caps that are vibrating. Anyone got any ideas?, pre is working fine but I am a little concerned that this may be a fault in the making.
