I've been running Focal sm6 solo's for a while now. Love everything about them (2nd pair) but have been considering adding one or two sub6's to give them that extra boost down low.
That or take a chance selling the solo's and buy a pair of sm9's which required quite the outlay. Whereas I could go one sub6 initially to see how it all sounds.
Room size, it is mediumish, around 30sqm but that could always change and I don't generally consider this when purchasing stereo kit bar making sure the speakers are capable of filling it.
One sub6 mono'ed initially or two in stereo config or go all out with sm9's?
Anybody else been through this scenario? What advice would SNA'ers have for me?
