These are a passive version of the Pro-12 subs made in Sydney by Aslan Acoustics. They are over-engineered to the max and capable of huge power handling and output. The drivers were custom made to Aslan's specs by P-Audio and the combined weight of the driver and enclosure is around 45kg each. That's 90kg worth of tight, tuneful bass. I used them with a JBL pro amp which was capable of 675w/ch into their 4ohm load and they handled it with ease. At this price get a Behringer amp, add miniDSP and you've got unmatched bass capabilities for a bit over $1k.
Unfortunately I don't have room for these two monsters anymore so I need to revert to a single powered sub which I've committed to here in the classifieds.
One of the subs copped a headbutt from my now-20 month old while he was trying to walk so the dustcap is dinged but it's an easy fix. The same sub will need some black satin paint to the top to bring it back to good nick. Neither affect the functionality of the sub in question.
Due to size and weight pickup preferred but I will work in with a courier if the buyer is interstate. Just bear in mind the weight of the things.
