Hi,
I'm looking for an automatic turntable... full auto, if possible, auto lift at the end at the least. Mostly because my missus prefers it that way, and partly because I like to listen while I cook and hate the needle making that white noise at the end when the side finishes... and I can't always just stop what I'm doing right then and there.
I know automatic is not the "preferred" way, but it just fits my lifestyle better.
Now, I am looking for a new turntable. possibly spending up to about $1500-1700 tops. Really like to have wooden plinth of some sort.
The only ones I have seen in this price range is Thoren 240-mk2 (full auto) and TD295-mk4 (semi auto).
Does anyone know of any others that fits the bill that I should look into?
Just for extra info, it will be played through the phono stage of Parasound Halo 2.1 integrated amp and Monitor Audio RX6 speakers... if that makes any difference at all.
Any help would be appreciated!
