This unit may have a HDMI board issue as when switching between source units it sometimes struggled to synch the video feed. Or...it could be a simple handshake issue in which carefully choosing which connected sources are switched on/off in a specific order may solve the issue.
To avoid this issue, I simply simply connected all my equipment direct to my monitors (LCD & Projector) via HDMI & sound via coax/optical & it works flawlessly. I ended up replacing this unit about a year ago.
