Later today we will be looking at bare ~1000 sqm block of land. Which got me to thinking that while I would ideally like the home theatre room to be part of the main house design, that isn't always practical. What I had in mind was a separate man cave that housed both the home theatre room and my workshop in one ~10m x 8m besser block shed (block divider down the middle).
Since it is technically a shed, I could build it myself to my exact specifications and put what ever sound dampening in I want. Having this kind of freedom got me to thinking about the golden rule and trying to understand it. Am I correct in assuming that the room is smaller in both height and width at the listening end?
I am struggling a bit to understand the formula fully.
