I thought I had a bass feedback problem because when playing some records loud I'd get runaways bass feedback so would be limited to how loud I can play the record...
Discovered if I leave TT needle up, TT not spinning I can turn up the volume very loud and get nothing, good.
However, if I put the needle down on the record not spinning and crank the volume I get runaway bass feedback/hum. WTF?
TT has totally electrically isolated motor.
TT is all aluminum high mass.
Tried connecting earth lug on back amp to various metal parts of TT, no change.
Any ideas of what I should be looking for to solve this.
