I have my eye on a Kuzma 313 tonearm. 2nd hand, but like new/ mint in the original box with all the bits.
Before I put my hand up to purchase it, (as I have never heard one!) I would like to hear from anyone that has any first hand experience with this arm. Either listening, or better, owning and setting up this arm.
What carts does it suit best. I struggle to get my head around this compliance thing!
Currently I run a Lyra Kleos and it has absolutely no body in my current setup. I have had 6 different phonos and 4 different stepups, all sounded the same rubbish. So either the arm is rubbish, the cart is rubbish or they are both fine but just not a match together. I'm thinking the last scenario is closer to the truth.
I can borrow this 313, but would like opinions from others first, so I don't go into this deal with rose coloured glasses!
...And any idea of the $$$ value of this arm. What is a fair price for it in mint condition secondhand?
