Bought this from lifestyle store a few months ago for $889 : http://www.lifestylestore.com.au/svs-sb-1000-12-sealed-cabinet-subwoofer.html. It was only out for about a month before it was put away. Realised I do not need a subbie.
It is a neat small box (345x330x355mm), not much bigger than its 12inch speaker, which you can tuck away. However, inside its small cabinet is an amplifier that can output more than enough clean low frequency audio output power for a small or medium size room. In addition, the SB-1000 provides adjustable volume, phase, and crossover controls, as well as several connection options that can work with just about any home theater receiver.
Would suit someone looking for a bit of oomph to their bookshelf speakers or to their home theatre.
