Item: 2 x Valvet E1p 10Watt single ended class A mono-block power amplifiers
Location: Brisbane 4151
Price: $650 for both mon-blocks
Item Condition: good to very good
Reason for selling: more power required to match my other amps
Payment Method: Cash, Paypal, Direct Deposit
Extra Info:
I bought these in October 2014 from another SNA member to power my tweeters in a 4 way active setup.
I've determined that 10 Watts is a bit lacking compared to the other amplification in my setup and have upgraded to more power across the 4 channels of mids and tweeters in my PSE144s.
They've had less than 200hrs of use since I've owned them.
German made, very sweet sounding class A single ended mono-block amps.
With the E1p, the "p" designates protection - a delayed start feature - useful in active setups, and non-intrusive for other setups (you hear a click about 1 sec after power on).
This is the only difference between the E1r and the E1p.
Very smooth sounding amps - i'd keep them if they had a bit more power.

Filtering: 20,000 µF filtering each mono-block
Dimensions: 120 x 60 x 320 mm
Case: Black, anodized solid extruded aluminum profiles
They're class A, so they do generate heat, but the case temperature remains very stable once they've been running for 20 minutes or so.
I've had excellent email responses from the owner of the company with the questions I've had.
One of little square rubber feet has come unstuck, and another was replaced by the previous owner with 2 round ones - the amp design uses the case as a heatsink, so the glue on the feet suffers a litlle.
There are some scratches on the front faces - I ran them vertically in the Queensland climate.
They're not in my system currently, but for Brisbane buyers I'd be happy to put them back in for a listening test.
I don't have the original boxes, but they're quite compact and I'm happy to post at the buyers expense.
