Developed an issue on start-up with intermittent crackling, so went the whole hog on ensuring it was overhauled properly with quality parts from both Trevor at Rage and Chris at Kimmil. Over $1000 spent on recapping, transistors replaced, stand-by transformer & volume control replaced. Would hazard this to be one of the most reliable Tabu's available. Superb performance. Plenty of reviews online about this legendary classic. Remote included. Specs lifted from an authorised o/s seller advertising one on ebay for over US$4K.
