Last week I pulled the trigger on some upgrades for the Debut Carbon. An acrylic platter and an Ortofon 2M Bronze cart. So after a day or so I notice that the cantilever just doesn't look quite right. To my eyes it seems slightly skewed. Now the strange part is the sound is great. A small but noticeable step up from the OM20 super cart I've been running for a while now. Its displaying the hallmarks that this cart has become renowned for. The thing is though, could it be even better if it (seemingly) wasn't skewed, and even if the sound is as good as it's going to get despite the look of it, will it be doing damage to my records due to it not tracking right?
The slight inner groove distortion I was getting with the other cart seems to have disappeared as well, so that's encouraging!
Any thoughts would be appreciated,
