Extra Info:
A sealed box design with a 12" bass driver and horn loaded mid and high frequency drivers, the Heresy II is a small but sensitive 'speaker offering great clarity and speed. The Heresy was introduced in 1957 and has been in the Klipsch lineup in one form or another since. One of the great things about these 'speakers is that they are at their best sitting on the floor, hard up against the wall and out of the way. No need to mess around with stands or positioning intrusively into the room.
I've owned these from new (perhaps 15 years?) and used them in a number of different systems and houses where they've never failed to put a smile on my face. Most recently they have been part of the family system, paired with Luxman integrated and Squeezebox. Mechanically and electrically in very good condition, the cabinets are showing their age with a few nicks and scratches. Given the black finish these should be pretty easy to touch up for an as-new appearance.
