This is the Wadia 121 Decoding Computer which currently retails for $2,499. It is a DAC, pre-amplifier, and headphone amp. There are inputs for AES/EBU (XLR), S/PDIF (Coax, BNC, and Toslink), and asynchronous USB all of which are capable of handling 24/192 files.
The original power supply unit limits the performance of this DAC. With the upgraded PSU (which costs approx. $500) the performance is significantly enhanced, including better sound stage, darker background, smoother highs and deeper, more defined bass, and more stable and clear instrumental images.
