I'm curious about the composition of component video cable 3 RCA to 3 RCA (red+white audio, yellow video).
Before I ask my questions, I understand that they are all made from coax cable. I also understand that this is not the best way to transport video signals, but it is the only option for some equipment.
Is there any difference in the wire composition between the audio cables and video line? eg. Does the video need to be low capacitance wire in comparison to the audio, or something like that? Would using high-ish quality audio cable improve the video signal?
I suspect there is no difference, but I'm less knowledgeable in video areas. Thanks.
