Extra Info: I recently started a thread about some hum coming from this. The problem was predominantly caused by inadequate isolation of the 2 transformers in the power supply. This was rectified and you need to be within 0.5m to hear anything. This residual hum is probably caused by the difference in NZ and US electricity. It comes with a near new isolation, step-up transformer which operates silently. See the thread here -

I would have kept this as the sound quality is great, but an opportunity arose to get an LFD MCT SE phono which matches my LFD NCSE amp. Too tempting to resist! The LFD is better, but the Walker is very close. There is the owner's manual which has some hand written notes by Lloyd, 9 isolation discs listed at US$50 ea on the Walker website. There is a multi-meter and attachment for performing adjustments described in the manual.

Additionally I had the output resistors changed and the phono and power supply checked professionally last year. The output resistance is now 270ohms. The 500ohm resistors are included. I ran this with a DV te Kaitora Rua cart.

I will ship this for free.
