Extra Info:

If you want to digitize your VHS tapes, JVC's final-run Super-VHS players, were the finest models available for preservation of quality of your precious VHS tapes.

These are highly sought after units, and are never seen on the used market.  The model offered here is one of the 'official' recommended units from the pro-video community, for both the purpose of playback, and digitizing of VHS (or Super-VHS) tapes, to PC, Hard Drive, and other mediums.  The reason is - DVD-like digitization quality due to its TBC (Timebase Corrector) ; a must in the pro video community in order to ensure the highest quality picture, for playback and digitization.  Official list of recommended VHS Players are as follows :

These units were never released in Australia, and were the final run of JVC's heralded Super-VHS (S-VHS) units.  I purchased it on eBay UK (you'll see power cord is EU) and the unit operates using an EU/AU/US/Asia travel adaptor (see pics) ; I purchased this adaptor from my local travel shop in Canberra.  I will throw in the adaptor for the purchaser, to make life easy =).  The adaptor is simply connected to the power cord, and plugged into an Aussie outlet.  Worked brilliantly.  Voltage is 220-240V (EU Standard) so, no problems with playback here.

As noted above only selling as I have completed the digitization of a handful of my precious VHS tapes.  I purchased the unit about 6 months ago, and it is in beautiful condition, as seen by the pics.  In terms of the asking price, I'm only looking to get back what I paid for it ; given I only bought it very recently.  These units are very rare and sought after enough that people simply purchase them, digitize their tapes, and move them on for consistent pricing (see current and archival pricing of these units on eBay UK, as evidence of this..)

I have box/protective contents for packaging (although not the original JVC box) so, happy to ship interstate.  Comes with its original remote/manual.

Thx for looking! =)
